SHATKARMAS /YOGIC CLEANSING TECHNIQUES








" When fat or mucus is excessive, the Shatkarmas or six cleansing techniques should be practiced before(pranayama).Others in whom the doshas (ie.phlegm, wind, bile) are balanced need not do them." Hatha Yoga Pradipika (2.21)
NASAL CLEANSING : THIS TECHNIQUE IS A PROCESS OF CLEANSING THE NASAL PASSAGES WITH SALTY WATER . It allows a free flow of air through the nostrils and elilminates the nasal congestion from colds , hay fever and sinusitis. It has benefits on eyes , ears and throat conditions and its a first aid for headaches, insomnia and tiredness.
STOMACH WASH ( KUNJAL KRIYA) : THIS TECHNIQUE IS A PROCESS OF CLEANING THE UPPER DIGESTIVE SYSTEM WITH SALTY WATER . It helps eradicate bad breath , headaches,accumulated phlegm , sore throats and is an important practice for asthmatics. Many people experience an upset stomach like indigestion, nausea, vomiting or ulcers, which are caused from impure food , fat food or from stress and emotional upsets.. the practice of kunjal kriya washes out all impurities and reduces the acidity that aggravates ulcers. It also gives a great relief from anger and depression .
INTESTINAL WASH; THIS TECHNIQUE CLEANSES THE WHOLE DIGESTIVE TRACT.It removes toxins from the tract and brings benefit to our whole being. relieves acidity, gas and indigestion, kidneys are flashed out too.
Remember we are the outcome what we breath, eat, drink , and think !! Living a simple yogic lifestyle and practicing keeps u healthy on all levels, physical, emotional, mental and energy.

Shatkarmas are practiced in the studio regularly every Saturday early morning , come with an empty stomach and leave with a big smile and high energy !!!!

ΒEGINNING OF NEW TERM !!!!! ΕΝΑΡΞΗ ΚΑΙΝΟΥΡΓΙΑΣ ΠΕΡΙOΔΟΥ


Classes have started , registrations are on !! I am wishing us all an uplifting new term, deepening into the precious yogic practices and staying calm, focused and strong to face all kinds of life's challenges , by changing our attitude towards situations, and making positive affirmations !!
Current class schedule is in Greek for advanced students every Tuesday and Thursday at 8,30-10.00 and 19.30-21.00 , Mondays at 17.00 a Dynamic class, for beginners on Monday and Wednesday at 19.30-21.00 and I am now setting a class for all levels in English Wednesdays and Fridays 9.00-10.30. Last Saturday of each month we are doing the Hatha Yoga cleansing techniques on a regular basis, removing toxins from stomach and intestines to have a free flow of energy and feel light and happy on physical & emotional level, and staying focused and calm on a mental level. More workshops with different themes like Stress management will be announced. Pre-natal yoga available !!
Η καινουργια περιοδος ξεκινισε , εγγραφες αρχισαν, ευχομαι σε ολους μας, μια περιοδο ανατασης ,γαληνης και δυναμης, χρησιμοποιοντας τις γιογκικες πρακτικες για να αντιμετωπισουμε τις τρεχουσες προκλησεις με θετικοτητα και πιστη !!
Το τρεχον προγραμμα ειναι Τριτη και Πεμτη 8.30-10.00 και 19.30-21.00 για προχωρημενους, και Δευτερα & Τεταρτη 19.30-21.00 για αρχαριους, Δευτερα 17.00 Δυναμικη ταξη και Τεταρη & Παρασκευη 9.00-10.30 στα αγγλικα. Καθε τελευταιο Σαββατο του μηνα κανουμε τις Πρακτικες καθαρισμου της Χαθα Γιογκα απομακρινοντας τοξινες απο στομαχι και εντερα , απολαμβανοντας υγεια και ευεξια σε σωματικο επιπεδο, συναισθηματικη γαληνη και νοητικη σταθεροτητα & διαυγεια . Διαφορετικα σεμιναρια με θεματα οπως Γιογκα και διαχειριση του στρες θα ανακοινωνονται.Δυνατοτητα δημιουργιας ταξης για εγκυους μονον.

WORKSHOP IN MYCONOS
















A wonderful 3 day workshop in the the ever so strong in energy Myconos, including advanced practices like Chakra Dharana, Prana Nidra and all kinds of different meditation practices like Zen walking meditation in Mouna, Giberish, No Mind , early morning class with Asana and Pranayama by the seaside and lovely shared times gave to all 12 participants a great bust of energy and a good start for the new term . THE YOGIC ANSWER TO STRESS ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION



Another wonderful workshop , giving a thorough understanding on how stress creates anxiety disorders and depression and which applied yogic practices can prevent and cure it. A beautiful day spent together covering theory and practices. Asana , pranayama, relaxation meditation , karma yoga , and enjoying brunch and lunch in a light friendly atmosphere !!

WELLNESS/YOGA FOR HEALTH !!!













A successful whole day seminar from 10-17.00, on how to apply all branches of Yoga and use the golden yogic tools, so we can stay healthy on physical , mental and emotional level . Yogic asanas, breathing , relaxation and meditation, lovely brunch & lunch , lectures and application of karma yoga, meditation in action , gave us all the opportunity to spend a wonderful day together and deepen our understanding on how to apply yoga on these challenging days, and stay calm , strong, centered and Healthy !

Adding a new class in English only !


A New Yoga class in English is about to start, on Wednesdays 10.00-11.30, so for those interested do contact me to finalize details.

Existing Timetable in Greek is

Tuesdays & Thursdays 09.00-10.30 for experienced
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday 19.30-21.00 (Mo & We for beginners, Tue & Thur for experienced at least one year )

After Easter I am adding a new lunch time dynamic group on Mondays & Wednesdays, either at 15.00-16.30 or 17.00-18.30 according to your registrations.

Every last Saturday of the month the Hatha Yoga cleansing techniques for a toxin free , shining body/mind, open heart and high energy.

More workshops are due soon , on Stress management and Anna Yoga , the food yoga , a wonderful workshop where we all prepare and eat together , with ingredients that promote health and well being for the digestive and entire body.
Remember that Yoga is Preventive, Promotive and Curative on all levels.
