summer greetings from Yogamitra

The heatwave is on and practices that could assist should be very light asanas very early in the morning , remember the best hours to practice is during brahmamuhurta, which is 2 hours before including sunrise and 2 before including sunset. Pranayama should also be done lightly emphasizing on cooling you which is Sheetali pranayama as you have been taught. So take it easy , have light meals plenty of water fruits and vegies avoid tamassic food like alcohol and fried food that increase the heat in the body, keep the body away from sun as much as possible, and try to remain aware of your body-mind ' s needs.
